MBC Innovate is committed to making mbcinnovate.com usable for the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or the technology used to access it.

Conformance target

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities.

What we’ve done

• Semantic HTML with clear landmarks and heading structure.
• A “skip to content” link and full keyboard operability, including the navigation menu.
• Visible focus indicators on interactive elements.
• Color combinations checked for sufficient contrast against their backgrounds.
• Descriptive text alternatives for meaningful images; decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology.
• Respect for the prefers-reduced-motion setting — animations are removed for people who ask for less motion.
• A responsive layout that reflows and remains usable when zoomed or viewed on small screens.

Compatibility

The site is designed to work with current versions of major browsers and with assistive technologies such as screen readers (for example, VoiceOver, NVDA, and JAWS).

Known limitations

This is a new site and we continue to improve it. If some content does not yet fully meet our Level AA goal, we treat that as a bug to fix. If you notice something, please tell us.
